Tour de Fat is a traveling bike festival put on by New Belgium Brewery.
This event travels to 13 cities, and for the first time ever is making a
stop in Nashville. Tour de Fat is meant to spread the word about all
the benefits of riding your bicycle. This event will consist of a 6 mile
bike parade, costumes are encouraged, followed by activities in the
park including live music and of course New Belgium Beer.
SoundForest.org will be one of the local non-profit beneficiaries.
Volunteers are needed to assist in set-up the day before, and from
8:30am-6:00pm the day of the event to help with registration, act as
ride marshals, serve refreshments, and assist in tear down. Shift times
vary. Soundforest will let you know what shifts are available and
assist you in finding a good fit for your schedule.
